Please post your questions for your peers in the post below. Feel free to answer any or all of the questions so that this is truly a virtual discussion forum...say anything that you'd usually say in a class discussion.
Find a source of fresh water, food(could be pigs) and shelter- all things necessary for life, then try to find a way to get rescued (similar to how the boys lit the fire on top of the mountain)
I would find a safe place to stay, and fresh water. Also, I would find a place where I could get food, whether it be fruit, nuts, or pigs. Also, I would find a place that I could go to the bathroom. I know its gross but that is one of the things I would do.
Hahaha, too funny Abby. I have to think about this one-- I think I'd make sure I had shelter and water, too (Maslow's Hierarchy of needs anyone?). I think I'd look for a shelter at high ground so I could see anything coming at me. That might be weird, but better safe than sorry.
If you had to choose to side with Jack and have enough food and shelter and be with most of the other kids, or stay with Ralph (your leader through the book) and risk having to fight/ deal with Jack and his hunters, which would you choose (answer honestly)
Nick-- great answer... I am also a big fan of chocolate. I still don't have an answer for my own question.
Katherine- Honestly, I would pick Jack. It's like middle school in that way...do you want to be the bullied or the bully? I'd love to THINK that I'd take the high road but...especially thinking about my middle school, dorky, insecure self...I am ashamed to say that I'd probably wuss out.
i would miss the pasta carbronara from carmine's in NYC the most. and I would choose Ralph because i think that he was being a better leader at some points in the book. knowing me i would probably sabotage Jack and take his food though. I know... I am a jerk
